April/May snippets

It's Snippets of Story time at Whisperings of the Pen and so here is both April and May's Snippets.  (I had more but  Microsoft word ate them. =( So as you can see May became more scribble-y towards the end.  And thank you so much Katie for hosting this!

"The room is hot and stuffy, but outside it is cool and blowy and refreshing. Drops of rain splash on head face and the side of face. It reminds her of another place, it feels like home for a moment. She wishes she could stay out there forever and dancing in the rain, but it is Earth now, not some land like Narnia and it is not safe to be out when the lightning flashes and the thunder roars."

 - Random scribbles

She shivered making her way across the tundra. She needed to find shelter soon… She had hoped to maybe appear in a desert or some place warm. Maybe then what had happened with the river would cause the books to become dried… but no… a frozen tundra was no good.

-some new scribbles for a idea I've recently had.

“A clue!” shouted the deputy detective pointing into the dark interior of the room. There in a patch of moonlight, let in by a crack in the wall mortar, lay the silk pearls.
  -Pure random scibblyness.
